The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Perry-Lecompton Kaws (Perry, KS) and the visiting Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] Cyclones (Wathena, KS), observed Perry-Lecompton's football squad defeat Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] by a count of 35-12.

The Kaws now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Nemaha Central for a non-league contest on Friday, September 16. Perry-Lecompton will encounter a Thunder squad coming off a 71-15 non-league win over Royal Valley (Hoyt, KS). The Thunder record now stands at 2-0.
