In Friday's non-league game, the Rivercrest Rebels (Bogata, TX) football team knocked off the visiting Prairiland Patriots (Pattonville, TX), by a score of 31-21.
The Rebels (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Chisum (Paris, TX). The Mustangs come into the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Chisum was dropped by Bells (Bells, TX), 48-7, in a non-league game.
The Patriots now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Scurry-Rosser for a non-league game on Friday, September 16. Prairiland will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 65-41 non-league loss to Edgewood (Edgewood, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-1.
