    • Pennsylvania High School Football - West Allegheny trounces Ringgold

    September 9, 2022: Monongahela, PA 15063

    In Friday's non-league match, the visiting West Allegheny Indians football squad scored a big 49-7 victory over the Ringgold Rams.

    In their next game, the Indians clash with the New Castle Hurricanes (New Castle, PA) in a WPIAL AAAA Parkway match, on Friday, September 16. West Allegheny will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Hurricanes enter the match with a 1-2 record after their 49-13 non-league loss to Armstrong (Kittanning, PA).

    The Rams (0-3) will now prepare for their match against West Mifflin (West Mifflin, PA). The Titans enter the WPIAL AAA Western Hills match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, West Mifflin was crushed by Thomas Jefferson (Jefferson Hills, PA), 38-0, in a non-league match.
