The South Rowan Raiders football team (China Grove, NC), was ripped 41-0 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC)
The Hornets (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Thomasville (Thomasville, NC). The Bulldogs come into the 1A/2A West Conference 33 challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Thomasville trounced Forbush (East Bend, NC), 26-13, in a non-league challenge.
The Raiders now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northwest Cabarrus for a 3A West Conference 48 challenge on Friday, September 16. South Rowan will meet a Trojans team coming off a 24-17 non-league win over Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 3-1.
