Texas High School Football - United drops to Seguin

September 9, 2022: Laredo, TX 78045

In Friday's non-league game, the Seguin Matadors (Seguin, TX) football team knocked off the host United Longhorns (Laredo, TX), by a score of 40-29.

The Matadors (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Lehman (Kyle, TX). The Lobos come into the 5A-1 Region III District 12 game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Lehman was dropped by Lockhart (Lockhart, TX), 56-13, in a non-league game.

The Longhorns now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clemens for a non-league game on Friday, September 16. United will battle a Buffaloes team coming off a 28-21 non-league loss to Vista Ridge (Cedar Park, TX). The Buffaloes record now stands at 2-1.
