North Carolina High School Football - Southeast Halifax trounces Weldon

September 9, 2022: Weldon, NC 27890

In Friday's league match, the visiting Southeast Halifax Trojans football squad scored a big 62-16 victory over the Weldon Chargers.

In their next game, the Trojans clash with the KIPP Pride Pride (Gaston, NC) in a 1A East Conference 9 match, on Friday, September 16. Southeast Halifax will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Pride enter the match with a 1-2 record after their 52-0 league win over Rocky Mount Prep (Rocky Mount, NC).

The Chargers (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Warren County (Warrenton, NC). The Eagles come into the 1A East Conference 9 test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Warren County triumphed over Northwest Halifax (Littleton, NC), 46-6, in a league test.

Congratulations to #22 Cameron Johnson (overall), #2 Jamerius Hudson (offensive), #9 Davis Richardson (defensive) and #10 KeShoan Moody (special teams) for being selected the Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy Football Players of the Game.
