In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Summit Academy Knights football squad scored a close 18-14 victory over the Springdale Dynamos.
In their next game, the Knights clash with the Rochester Rams (Rochester, PA) in a WPIAL A Big 7 match, on Saturday, September 17. Summit Academy will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Rams enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 60-13 non-league win over New Brighton (New Brighton, PA).
The Dynamos (0-3) will now prepare for their match against Leechburg (Leechburg, PA). The Blue Devils enter the WPIAL A Eastern match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Leechburg held off Bentworth (Bentleyville, PA), 56-0, in a non-league match.
