New York High School Soccer - Notre Dame Academy knocks off Cookeville

Notre Dame Academy Gators (Staten Island, NY) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Cookeville Cavaliers (Cookeville, TN), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Gators face the Evangelical Christian Eagles (Cordova, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 10. Notre Dame Academy will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 1-0 league win over Lausanne Collegiate (Memphis, TN).
The Cavaliers now have a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they host Wilson Central for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 13. Cookeville will face a Wildcats team coming off a 3-0 league win over Smyrna (Smyrna, TN). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-3.
