In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting Juan Diego Catholic Soaring Eagle soccer squad scored a close 2-0 triumph over the St. Joseph Jayhawks.
The Soaring Eagle (5-6) will now prepare for their battle against American Leadership Academy (Spanish Fork, UT). The Eagles come into the 3A Region 15 battle with a 1-8 record. In their last battle, American Leadership Academy by Providence Hall (Herriman, UT), 3-1, in a league battle.
The Jayhawks (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Draper APA (Draper, UT). The Eagles come into the 2A battle with a 3-1 record.
