Althoff Catholic Crusaders (Belleville, IL) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Bishop DuBourg Cavaliers (St. Louis, MO), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Crusaders confront the Belleville West Maroons (Belleville, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 12. Althoff Catholic will attempt to better on its 7-1 season record. The Maroons enter the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Gibault Catholic (Waterloo, IL).
The Cavaliers now have a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Lutheran for a AAA challenge on Tuesday, September 13. Bishop DuBourg will confront a Cougars team coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Westminster Christian (St. Louis, MO). The Cougars record now stands at 1-2.
