The Wheeler Warriors soccer team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Bishop Hendricken Hawks to 1 in the Warriors non-league victory on Friday.
Next, the Warriors face the Mt. Hope Huskies (Bristol, RI) in a non-league contest, on Monday, September 12. Wheeler will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Huskies enter the contest with a 0-1 record after their 2-2 league Cumberland (Cumberland, RI).
The Hawks now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Central Falls for a State Championship Division contest on Tuesday, September 13. Bishop Hendricken will face a Warriors team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Tolman (Pawtucket, RI). The Warriors record now stands at 2-2.
