The Vandalia Christian Vikings soccer team scored 6 points and limited the visiting Providence Grove Patriots to 2 in the Vikings non-league victory on Friday.
Next, the Vikings face the Cramerton Christian Academy Crusaders (Cramerton, NC) in a NCCSA AA District 1 - West Region contest, on Tuesday, September 13. Vandalia Christian will attempt to better on its 6-0 season record. The Crusaders enter the contest with a 6-2 record after their 3-1 league win over Gospel Light Christian (Walkertown, NC).
The Patriots now have a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southwestern Randolph for a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A contest on Monday, September 12. Providence Grove will face a Cougars team coming off a 9-2 non-league win over North Stanly (New London, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 2-3.
