The Conifer Lobos softball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Rifle Bears to 0 in the Lobos non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Conifer improves its record to 8-2 on the year. The Lobos host Alameda (Lakewood, CO) to clash with the Pirates in a 4A Jeffco game on Monday, September 12. The Pirates come into the game with a record of 2-5. Alameda lost 18-12 in their recent non-league game against Jefferson (Edgewater, CO)

In their next game, the Bears clash with the Palisade Bulldogs (Palisade, CO) in a 4A Western Slope game, on Tuesday, September 13. Rifle will attempt to improve on its 7-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the game with a 8-2 record after their 15-2 non-league loss to Elizabeth (Elizabeth, CO).
