The Georgia Military College Bulldogs softball team scored 4 runs and limited the host Northgate Vikings to 1 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Georgia Military College moves its record to 5-1 on the year. The Bulldogs host Glascock County (Gibson, GA) to play the Panthers in a 1A D-II Region 5 game on Tuesday, September 13. The Panthers come into the game with a record of 7-3. Glascock County won 2-0 in their recent non-league game against Jefferson County (Louisville, GA)

In their next game, the Vikings play the Greenbrier Wolfpack (Evans, GA) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 9. Northgate will attempt to move on its 3-8 season record. The Wolfpack come into the game with a 5-3 record after their 9-1 league win over Bradwell Institute (Hinesville, GA).
