The Toombs County Bulldogs softball team (Lyons, GA), was routed 8-0 in Friday's non-league test with the visiting Lanier County Bulldogs (Lakeland, GA)

Coming up next, the Bulldogs encounter the Johnson County Trojans (Wrightsville, GA) in a non-league test, on Friday, September 9. Lanier County will attempt to improve on its 16-1 season record. The Trojans come into the test with a 4-7 record after their 6-2 non-league loss to Swainsboro (Swainsboro, GA).

The Bulldogs (4-8) will now prepare for their test against Irwin County (Ocilla, GA). The Indians come into the non-league test with a 8-1 record. In their last test, Irwin County overcame Brooks County (Quitman, GA), 19-0, in a league test.
