Parkway South Patriots (Manchester, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Northwest Lions (Cedar Hill, MO), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Patriots now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Eureka for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 15.

With the loss, Northwest falls to 8-4 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Eureka (Eureka, MO) to face the Wildcats in a Class 4 District 4 challenge on Monday, September 12. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 1-0.
