The St. Monica Mariners topped the host Banning Pilots volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Friday's non-league test.
The Mariners now have a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Beverly Hills for a non-league test on Saturday, September 10. St. Monica will confront a Normans team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Chatsworth (Chatsworth, CA). The Normans record now stands at 4-8.
The Pilots (0-5) will now prepare for their test against Palisades (Pacific Palisades, CA). The Dolphins enter the non-league test with a 12-4 record. In their last test, Palisades gained a win over Malibu (Malibu, CA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
