The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Eastview Lightning (Apple Valley, MN) and the host Benilde-St. Margaret's Red Knights (St. Louis Park, MN), saw Eastview's volleyball squad nip Benilde-St. Margaret's by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Eastview upgrades its record to 3-1 on the year. The Lightning travel to Chaska (Chaska, MN) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Friday, September 9. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Chaska won 3-2 in their recent league bout against Waconia (Waconia, MN)

The Red Knights now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Tracy-Milroy-Balaton for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 10. Benilde-St. Margaret's will play a Panthers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Northfield (Northfield, MN). The Panthers record now stands at 1-1.
