Illinois High School Volleyball - South County over St. Elmo/Brownstown

In Friday's non-league contest, the South County Vipers (Franklin, IL) volleyball squad were winner over the host St. Elmo/Brownstown Eagles (St. Elmo, IL), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Vipers battle the Hillsboro Hiltoppers (Hillsboro, IL) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 9. South County will attempt to better on its 7-5 season record. The Hiltoppers go into the contest with a 1-4 record after their 2-0 league win over Vandalia (Vandalia, IL).

With the loss, St. Elmo/Brownstown moves to 4-3 on the year. The Eagles travel to Roxana (Roxana, IL) to battle the Shells in a non-league contest on Friday, September 9. The Shells go into the contest with a record of 6-3. Roxana won 2-0 in their recent league contest against East Alton-Wood River (Wood River, IL)
