The Thomas Jefferson Gryphons volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Pinnacle Classical Academy Eagles to 1 in the Gryphons non-league victory on Friday.

The Gryphons now possess a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Burns for a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A game on Tuesday, September 13. Thomas Jefferson will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 league win over Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-7.

The Eagles (6-2) will now prepare for their game against Veritas Christian Academy (Arden, NC). The Warriors enter the Western Piedmont Athletic game with a 5-0 record.
