New York High School Football - Akron smashes Kennedy

The Akron Tigers (Akron, NY) football routed the host Kennedy Bears (Cheektowaga, NY), 44-6 in Saturday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Newfane Panthers (Newfane, NY) in a Section 6 C - North bout, on Friday, September 15. Akron will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 2-0 record after their 43-11 league win over Barker/Royalton-Hartland (Middleport, NY).

The Bears (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against Eden/North Collins (Eden, NY). The Raiders enter the Section 6 C - North bout with a 0-2 record. In their last bout, Eden/North Collins was crushed by Medina (Medina, NY), 2-0, in a league bout.
