New York High School Football - St. Joseph-by-the-Sea topples Christ the King

The St. Joseph-by-the-Sea Vikings (Staten Island, NY) football defeated the visiting Christ the King Royals (Middle Village, NY), 14-0 in Saturday's league bout.
In their next game, the Vikings face the Cardinal Hayes Cardinals (Bronx, NY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, September 23. St. Joseph-by-the-Sea will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Cardinals enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 52-51 league loss to St. Anthony's (Melville, NY).
The Royals (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against Moore Catholic (Staten Island, NY). The Mavericks enter the Catholic AA I bout with a 0-2 record. In their last bout, Moore Catholic lost by Conwell-Egan Catholic (Fairless Hills, PA), 17-7, in a non-league bout.
