The crowd at Saturday's league contest between the Maryland School for the Deaf Orioles (Frederick, MD) and the visiting Coventry Christian (Pottstown, PA), observed Maryland School for the Deaf's football squad defeat Coventry Christian by a count of 50-28.

The Orioles now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host California School for the Deaf-Riverside for a non-league contest on Friday, September 15. Maryland School for the Deaf will encounter a Cubs squad coming off a 41-6 non-league loss to Sage Hill (Newport Beach, CA). The Cubs record now stands at 1-2.

Coming up next, the encounter the Model Secondary School for the Deaf Eagles (Washington, DC) in a Keystone State (8 Man) contest, on Friday, September 22. Coventry Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
