The Northwest Jaguars (Germantown, MD) football routed the visiting Damascus Hornets (Damascus, MD), 47-14 in Saturday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Jaguars face the Richard Montgomery Rockets (Rockville, MD) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, September 14. Northwest will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Rockets enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 54-22 non-league loss to Walter Johnson (Bethesda, MD).
The Hornets (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against Rockville (Rockville, MD). The Rams enter the Montgomery County 3A bout with a 0-2 record. In their last bout, Rockville was overwhelmed by Wootton (Rockville, MD), 17-14, in a non-league bout.
