The New Dorp Central Cougars football squad scored 44 points and restricted the visiting Frank J. Macchiarola Sharks to 26 in the Central Cougars non-league victory on Saturday.

The Central Cougars now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Erasmus Hall for a PSAL AAAA battle on Thursday, September 14. New Dorp will face a Dutchmen squad coming off a 14-12 league loss to Mt. Zion Prep Academy (Lanham, MD). The Dutchmen record now stands at 0-2.
