The Kennett Eagles football squad scored 49 points and restricted the visiting Pembroke Spartans to 22 in the Eagles league victory on Saturday.
The Eagles now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Laconia for a Division II - East battle on Friday, September 15. Kennett will play a Sachems squad coming off a 15-14 league win over Merrimack Valley (Penacook, NH). The Sachems record now stands at 1-0.
Coming up next, the Spartans play the Hillsboro-Deering/Hopkinton (Hillsboro, NH) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 16. Pembroke will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The enter the battle with a 1-1 record after their 40-16 league win over Hollis-Brookline (Hollis, NH).
