In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Alabama School for the Deaf Silent Warriors (Talladega, AL) in a Mason-Dixon (8 Man) match, on Thursday, September 14. Mississippi School for the Deaf will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Silent Warriors enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 32-16 non-league win over Oklahoma School for the Deaf (Sulphur, OK).

The Hornets (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Tennessee School for the Deaf (Knoxville, TN). The Vikings enter the Mason-Dixon (8 Man) match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Tennessee School for the Deaf routed Louisiana School for the Deaf (Baton Rouge, LA), 56-44, in a league match.
