The Murray Tigers football team (Murray, KY), was beaten 27-7 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Union County Braves (Morganfield, KY)
The Braves (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Hopkins County Central (Madisonville, KY). The Storm come into the 3A District 1 challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Hopkins County Central was beaten by Crittenden County (Marion, KY), 26-21, in a non-league challenge.
The Tigers now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Fulton County for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 15. Murray will meet a Pilots team coming off a 49-0 non-league loss to Obion County (Troy, TN). The Pilots record now stands at 0-6.
