The Virginia City Muckers (Virginia City, NV) football routed the host Wells Leopards (Wells, NV), 38-0 in Saturday's league bout.

In their next game, the Muckers face the Tonopah Muckers (Tonopah, NV) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, September 16. Virginia City will attempt to advance on its 3-0 season record. The Muckers enter the bout with a 3-0 record after their 70-12 non-league win over Laughlin (Laughlin, NV).

The Leopards (0-4) will now prepare for their bout against Mineral County (Hawthorne, NV). The Serpents enter the 1A West (8 Man) bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Mineral County walloped Owyhee (Owyhee, NV), 68-0, in a non-league bout.
