With the loss, Cherokee Trail drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Cougars host Fort Collins (Fort Collins, CO) to battle the Lambkins in a non-league test on Saturday, September 16. The Lambkins come into the test with a record of 0-2. Fort Collins lost 50-6 in their recent non-league test against Mountain Vista (Highlands Ranch, CO)
