The St. Ignatius Wildcats held off the visiting Padua Franciscan Bruins football team by a count of 17-14 in Saturday's non-league outing.
With the win, St. Ignatius upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Archbishop Hoban (Akron, OH) to confront the Knights in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 14. The Knights go into the outing with a record of 4-0. Archbishop Hoban won 48-0 in their recent non-league bout against St. John's Jesuit (Toledo, OH)
The Bruins (2-2) will now prepare for their bout against North Royalton (North Royalton, OH). The Bears enter the non-league bout with a 2-2 record.
