The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Spanish River Sharks (Boca Raton, FL) and the visiting Archbishop McCarthy Mavericks (Fort Lauderdale, FL), saw Spanish River's volleyball squad beat Archbishop McCarthy by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Spanish River upgrades its record to 5-3 on the year. The Sharks travel to Suncoast (Riviera Beach, FL) to play the Chargers in a bout on Tuesday, September 12. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 0-1.

The Mavericks now own a 0-1 record.
