The Bret Harte Bullfrogs held off the visiting Wheatland Pirates volleyball team by a score of 1-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Bullfrogs now have a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sonora for a test on Tuesday, September 12. Bret Harte will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 2-0 league win over Calaveras (San Andreas, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-0.

The Pirates (3-6) will now prepare for their test against Colfax (Colfax, CA). The Falcons enter the test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Colfax was nudged by Sutter (Sutter, CA), 2-0, in a league test.
