University Heights Blazers (Hopkinsville, KY) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Apollo Eagles (Owensboro, KY), 6-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Blazers confront the Ohio County Eagles (Hartford, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 11. University Heights will attempt to move on its 7-0 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to South Gibson (Medina, TN).
The Eagles now possess a 7-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Daviess County for a District 9 challenge on Tuesday, September 12. Apollo will confront a Panthers team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Ohio County (Hartford, KY). The Panthers record now stands at 9-4.
