In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Penobscot Valley Howlers soccer squad scored a close 2-1 win over the Central Red Devils.
The Howlers (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against George Stevens Academy (Blue Hill, ME). The Eagles go into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, George Stevens Academy nipped Mount View (Thorndike, ME), 1-0, in a league battle.
The Red Devils (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Orono (Orono, ME). The Riots go into the Class C - North battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Orono was nudged by Bucksport (Bucksport, ME), 3-0, in a league battle.
