In Saturday's non-league match, the host Central Catholic Fighting Irish football squad scored a big 38-0 victory over the Brother Rice Warriors.
In their next game, the Fighting Irish clash with the De La Salle Collegiate Pilots (Warren, MI) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 16. Central Catholic will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record.
The Warriors (2-1) will now prepare for their match against River Rouge (River Rouge, MI). The Panthers enter the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, River Rouge was crushed by St. John's Jesuit (Toledo, OH), 14-0, in a non-league match.
