In Saturday's non-league game, the Lutheran Lions (Parker, CO) football team knocked off the visiting Discovery Canyon Thunder (Colorado Springs, CO), by a score of 46-31.
The Lions (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Pueblo East (Pueblo, CO). The Eagles come into the non-league game with a 3-0 record. In their last game, Pueblo East toppled La Junta (La Junta, CO), 31-6, in a non-league game.
The Thunder now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pueblo County for a non-league game on Monday, October 16.
