In Saturday's non-league match, the host Homer Mariners football squad scored a big 52-0 victory over the Palmer Moose.
In their next game, the Mariners clash with the Houston Hawks (Big Lake, AK) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 16. Homer will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Hawks enter the match with a 1-2 record after their 20-16 non-league loss to Kenai Central (Kenai, AK).
The Moose (1-4) will now prepare for their match against North Pole (North Pole, AK). The Patriots enter the non-league match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, North Pole routed West Valley (Fairbanks, AK), 18-6, in a non-league match.
