The Esperanza Aztecs volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Sunny Hills Lancers to 0 in the Aztecs non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Aztecs (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against El Modena (Orange, CA). The Vanguards come into the non-league battle with a 5-9 record.
Next, the Lancers clash with the Rosary Academy Royals (Fullerton, CA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 9. Sunny Hills will attempt to advance on its 8-3 season record. The Royals come into the battle with a 12-1 record after their 2-0 league win over Whittier Christian (La Habra, CA).
