In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Rocklin Thunder volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Gridley Bulldogs.

The Thunder (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Oak Ridge (El Dorado Hills, CA). The Trojans come into the battle with a 8-2 record. In their last battle, Oak Ridge achieved victory over San Ramon Valley (Danville, CA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Bulldogs clash with the Woodcreek Timberwolves (Roseville, CA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 9. Gridley will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record.
