In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Nevada Union Miners volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Twelve Bridges Raging Rhinos.
The Miners (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Del Oro (Loomis, CA). The Golden Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Del Oro achieved victory over Bella Vista (Fair Oaks, CA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Raging Rhinos encounter the Gridley Bulldogs (Gridley, CA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 9. Twelve Bridges will attempt to advance on its 2-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 2-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Marysville (Marysville, CA).
