South Knox Spartans (Vincennes, IN) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Bloomfield Cardinals (Bloomfield, IN), 7-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Spartans face the Barr-Reeve Vikings (Montgomery, IN) in a Blue Chip challenge, on Tuesday, September 12. South Knox will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Evansville Day (Evansville, IN).

The Cardinals now have a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Eastern Greene for a challenge on Tuesday, September 12.
