In Saturday's non-league battle, the host DeLaSalle Islanders soccer squad scored a close 2-1 win over the St. Louis Park Orioles.
The Islanders (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Fridley (Fridley, MN). The Tigers go into the Class A Section 5 battle with a 1-5 record.
The Orioles (0-4) will now prepare for their battle against Jefferson (Bloomington, MN). The Jaguars go into the non-league battle with a 1-5 record. In their last battle, Jefferson nipped Burnsville (Burnsville, MN), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
