Kankakee Kays (Kankakee, IL) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Fenwick Friars (Oak Park, IL), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Kays face the Brother Rice Crusaders (Chicago, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 11. Kankakee will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Crusaders enter the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Niles North (Skokie, IL).
The Friars now have a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Niles North for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 11. Fenwick will face a Vikings team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Brother Rice (Chicago, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 6-2.
