In Saturday's non-league contest, the Aquinas Monarchs (David City, NE) softball team overwhelmed the host Duchesne/Roncalli (Omaha, NE), by a margin of 9-1.

With the triumph, Aquinas moves its record to 14-4 on the year. The Monarchs travel to Fort Calhoun (Fort Calhoun, NE) to play the Pioneers in a non-league contest on Saturday, September 9. The Pioneers come into the contest with a record of 5-4. Fort Calhoun lost 3-2 in their recent league contest against Douglas County West (Valley, NE)
