Missouri High School Softball - New Franklin bounces Atlanta

The New Franklin Bulldogs routed the visiting Atlanta Hornets softball squad by a count of 15-3 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Bulldogs (3-6) will now prepare for their battle against Brunswick (Brunswick, MO). The Wildcats go into the non-league battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Brunswick topped Green City (Green City, MO), 17-5, in a non-league battle.

The Hornets now sport a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Schuyler County for a Class 1 District 10 battle on Monday, September 11. Atlanta will meet a Rams squad coming off a 10-6 non-league win over Grundy County (Galt, MO). The Rams record now stands at 2-8.
