Ord Chanticleers (Ord, NE) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Hershey Panthers (Hershey, NE), 9-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Chanticleers now own a 3-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Paul for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 9. Ord will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 11-3 non-league win over Centennial (Utica, NE). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-2.

With the loss, Hershey falls to 4-13 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Holyoke (Holyoke, CO) to battle the Dragons in a non-league challenge on Monday, September 11. The Dragons enter the challenge with a record of 8-5. Holyoke won 16-9 in their recent non-league challenge against Burlington (Burlington, CO)
