In Saturday's non-league contest, the La Junta Tigers (La Junta, CO) softball team overwhelmed the host Sand Creek Scorpions (Colorado Springs, CO), by a margin of 15-0.
With the triumph, La Junta moves its record to 7-7 on the year. The Tigers travel to Florence (Florence, CO) to play the Huskies in a 3A Tri Peaks contest on Tuesday, September 12.
