McCook Bison (McCook, NE) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Seward Bluejays (Seward, NE), 12-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Bison now own a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grand Island Central Catholic for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 9. McCook will battle a Crusaders squad coming off a 10-2 league loss to Northwest (Grand Island, NE). The Crusaders record now stands at 9-7.

With the loss, Seward falls to 9-1 on the campaign. The Bluejays travel to Malcolm (Malcolm, NE) to battle the Clippers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 12. The Clippers enter the challenge with a record of 7-12.
