The Muldrow Bulldogs (Muldrow, OK) softball nipped the visiting Warner Eagles (Warner, OK), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Bulldogs (16-16) will now prepare for their bout against Broken Bow (Broken Bow, OK). The Savages go into the 4A District 5 bout with a 17-6 record. In their last bout, Broken Bow held off Cyril (Cyril, OK), 7-6, in a non-league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 16-7 record. They play next when they travel to Quinton for a non-league bout on Monday, September 11. Warner will confront a Savages squad coming off a 9-1 league loss to Smithville (Smithville, OK). The Savages record now stands at 6-11.
